The 031-02506-001 is the core master control logic board for York VSD water-cooled variable-speed centrifugal chillers. Designed for the VSD cabinets of the 19XRV series single-stage variable-speed centrifugal water-cooled chillers, it serves as the computational hub for the entire variable-speed system.
The board receives operational commands from the chiller's OptiView master controller and acquires various voltage, current, and temperature signals. It generates SCR trigger pulses and IGBT inverter PWM drive waveforms, while coordinating the entire process—including rectification, inversion, cooling, pre-charging, and fault protection.

Precautions for product installation and replacement:
Disconnect power to the entire unit and allow at least 30 minutes for the high-capacity DC bus capacitors to discharge; strictly guard against 700V high-voltage electric shock.

Hold the board by its edges when installing or removing ribbon cables; do not touch the chips on the circuit board, as static electricity can easily damage the MCU and isolation driver chips.

Connect all ribbon cables according to the silk-screened labels; misalignment of pins will immediately destroy the SCR and IGBT power components.

Match the version suffix to the unit’s cooling capacity (tonnage); for high-capacity units, prioritize the “003” optimized version.

After replacement, perform a VSD no-load self-test; verify stable DC bus voltage ramping and balanced three-phase output before proceeding to load operation.

If trigger or rectifier faults persist after replacement, inspect the associated SCR rectifier module, trigger ribbon cables, and inverter driver board.
