Yk 031-01743-001 Control Board — Commercial Chiller Input/Output Board — HVAC System Board

The 031-01743-001 is the I/O (Input/Output) control board for York centrifugal chillers—commonly referred to as the "IO Board" or "Analog-to-Digital Board." As a core control component of the YK/YS centrifugal chiller series, it is responsible for sensor signal acquisition, data processing, actuator control, and system safety protection. Serving as the "signal hub" connecting the main control board to field devices, it directly determines the unit's operational stability and energy efficiency.

Yk 031-01743-001 Control Board: Core Functions
1. Comprehensive System Signal Acquisition (Core of the Sensing Layer)
Pressure Signals: High/low pressure and oil pressure sensors (e.g., 025-41756-002) → Real-time monitoring of pressure ratios, pressure differentials, and anti-surge conditions;
Temperature Signals: Water, refrigerant, and discharge temperature sensors (e.g., 025-29964-001) → Calculation of superheat and subcooling values, and anti-freeze protection;
Switch Signals: Water flow switches, high/low pressure switches, safety valves, and emergency stop buttons → Safety interlocks and immediate shutdown upon detecting anomalies.
2. Data Processing and Computation (Core of the Control Layer)
Signal Conversion: Analog-to-digital signal conversion to provide data for the main control CPU;
Logic Control: Control of inlet guide vane opening, compressor loading/unloading, expansion valve opening (e.g., 025-32905-000), and fan speed modulation;
Safety Protection: Low-pressure anti-freeze protection, high-pressure overload protection, high-temperature protection, low oil level detection, and anti-surge control; real-time fault alarming and code logging.
3. Actuator Driving (Core of the Actuation Layer)
Drives the compressor inlet guide vane motor, expansion valve stepper motor, cooling fans, oil pump, and solenoid valves;
Outputs relay signals to control contactors, alarm lights, and remote monitoring interfaces.
4. Communication and Fault Diagnosis
Communicates with the main control board (Micro Board), operator panel, and remote monitoring systems;
Built-in Fault Self-Diagnosis: Detects power anomalies, signal loss, short circuits, and component failures → Precisely locates faults to facilitate maintenance and servicing.
