Synchronously captures the actual opening angle of the compressor’s inlet guide vanes and converts it into a standard analog voltage signal for transmission to the main controller; this serves as the core feedback component for the unit’s stepless capacity regulation.
2. Precise load matching and stable operating parameters
Based on the opening angle feedback from the potentiometer, the main controller coordinates with the IGV actuator to adjust inlet airflow, matching the cooling load at the terminal, stabilizing evaporation and condensation pressures, and reducing the unit’s power consumption.
3. Fault diagnosis and protection for IGV zero-point and travel limits
The main controller compares the commanded opening angle with the actual feedback from the potentiometer in real time; if the deviation exceeds limits, it identifies issues such as IGV mechanism jamming or potentiometer failure, triggering a fault-based load-limiting shutdown to protect the compressor and actuator motor.
4. Automatic full closure of guide vanes during fault shutdown to reduce liquid hammer risk
