Standard Installation and Replacement Specifications:
Installation Location: Outer wall of the compressor discharge pipe; the stainless steel probe rod must be in full contact with the pipe wall and wrapped in high-temperature insulation; the control box must be kept away from high-temperature sources and heat-generating components like VFDs.
Pre-replacement Safety Procedures:
Shut down the entire unit, disconnect the 380V main power supply, and wait for the main control capacitors to fully discharge; refrigerant recovery is not required—replacement can proceed after power disconnection.
Assembly Steps:
① Unplug the waterproof multi-pin connector, remove the cable ties securing the line, and take out the old SEN01960 probe;
② Verify the model of the new probe; ensure the stainless steel probe rod is flush against the copper discharge pipe, secure it tightly with cable ties, and fully wrap the exterior with insulation material;
③ Ensure the connector latch is fully engaged and the cable is secured away from heat-generating areas (such as VFDs or contactors);
④ Power on the unit, access the maintenance menu to read the discharge temperature, and verify the reading against an infrared thermometer (a difference of ≤1.8°C is acceptable); run the unit at full load for 30 minutes to ensure stable temperature readings and the absence of false high-temperature alarms or frequent unloading faults.
Criteria for Replacement:
1. Touchscreen reports a discharge high-temperature sensor fault (no temperature reading or a fixed limit value);
2. Significant temperature drift (difference >3°C from actual measurement), causing frequent load reduction due to high temperature or false shutdowns;
3. Deformation of the stainless steel probe rod, melting of the cable jacket, or circuit board corrosion caused by water ingress or oil mist;
4. Replacement of the high-temperature probe during major unit overhauls or compressor maintenance.
