Carrier CESO130038 (CCM) Control Module: Core Features Overview
1.Centralized System Control (Core Functionality
Coordinates the startup, shutdown, and regulation of all system components—including the compressor, guide vanes, oil pump, oil heater, cooling/chilled water valves, and fans. Executes the complete operational logic sequence: Pre-startup Self-check → Startup → Operation → Shutdown → Safety Protection.
2.Precise Parameter Acquisition and Closed-Loop Control
Real-time monitoring of key parameters such as suction/discharge pressure, evaporation/condensation pressure, inlet/outlet water temperatures, oil temperature, oil pressure, and motor current. Automatically adjusts guide vane opening, oil pump speed, and cooling water flow to maintain stable outlet water temperature (within ±0.5°C) and superheat levels (3–5 K).
3.Multi-Level Safety Protection and Fault Diagnosis
Features built-in safety protections against high/low pressure, high/low temperature, overcurrent, overload, insufficient oil pressure, low oil level, refrigerant leakage, freezing, and liquid slugging. In the event of a fault, the system initiates an immediate shutdown, locks the fault code for diagnosis, triggers audible and visual alarms, and records a history of events (≥50 entries) to facilitate rapid troubleshooting.
4.CCN Communication and Remote Monitoring
Supports networking via the CCN bus, enabling communication with CVC operator panels, host computers, and Building Management Systems (BMS). Facilitates local and remote startup/shutdown control, parameter configuration, status monitoring, trend analysis, and energy consumption statistics.
5.Capacity Modulation and Energy Optimization
Intelligently matches system output to loads ranging from 10% to 100%. Automatically optimizes the combined operation of the guide vanes and cooling water flow to boost the Coefficient of Performance (COP) by 15%–25% under partial load conditions, thereby significantly reducing energy consumption.

Product Installation and Maintenance Essentials
Power Disconnection + Discharge:Before installation, cut off the unit’s main power supply and wait 5 minutes for residual charge to dissipate to prevent electrostatic discharge or high voltage from damaging the mainboard.
Installation Environment: Mount the unit vertically inside the control cabinet; keep it away from heat sources (>60°C) and avoid exposure to vibration. Ensure the environment is well-ventilated, dry, dust-free, and protected from moisture.
Wiring Standards:Strictly adhere to the terminal wiring diagram. Route analog, digital, and communication cables separately, and ensure that cable shielding is reliably grounded to prevent electromagnetic interference.
Power-up and Commissioning:Upon powering on, the CVC panel will automatically detect the mainboard and display the unit model and software version. The system will perform a self-diagnostic check; once verified as fault-free, it will proceed to normal operation.
Periodic Maintenance:Quarterly: Inspect wiring connections to ensure they are secure, free of corrosion, and show no signs of overheating. Annually: Back up the system program and verify the accuracy of I/O signals. Every 5 years: Preventive replacement of the unit is recommended.
