Yk 025-40088-000 Oil Pressure Sensor / Lubricating Oil Pressure Transmitter – Refrigeration Accessory for Large Water-Cooled Screw Chillers

The 025-40088-000 is a dedicated lubricating oil pressure transmitter for Johnson Controls YK magnetic-bearing centrifugal chillers and YS large water-cooled screw chillers. Designed specifically to monitor oil pressure in the oil pump supply line, it serves as a critical safety sensing component within the lubrication system.
It features a built-in 316L stainless steel isolation diaphragm and sealed silicone buffer oil to capture lubricating oil pressure in real-time. It outputs a standard 0.5–4.5V linear voltage signal to the CH530/TD7 main controller, facilitating functions such as oil pressure build-up interlocking, low oil pressure shutdown protection, oil pump fault alarms, and load-linked control, thereby preventing compressor burnout of main shaft bearings due to dry running without oil.

YK MaxE/YKK magnetic-bearing VFD centrifugal chillers and YS large-tonnage water-cooled screw chillers (500–3000 RT units for data centers and industrial process cooling); utilizes R134a refrigerant and a supporting POE synthetic refrigeration oil lubrication system.
2. Monitored Medium
High-temperature POE refrigeration lubricant mixed with trace amounts of R134a refrigerant vapor; operating temperature range: -35°C to +115°C.
3. Standard Installation Points
Straight supply line branch downstream of the oil pump outlet; installed vertically facing upward via a 1/4″ NPT male thread connection. Ensure the internal silicone oil makes full contact with the stainless steel diaphragm to prevent reading inaccuracies caused by trapped air pockets. Locate away from high-temperature compressor discharge areas and zones with electromagnetic interference from contactors; a 664-49995 isolation base may be used for vibration damping.
