Wholesale Trane TDR00734 Pressure Sensor/High-Pressure Transmitter for Water-Cooled Screw Chillers – HVAC Parts

The TDR00734 is a specialized electronic pressure transmitter designed for the Trane UCP2 control system, specifically for use with the condenser or compressor discharge high-pressure circuits of water-cooled screw chillers. Featuring an integrated stainless steel isolation diaphragm and a measurement range of 0–475 PSI (0–32.7 bar), it monitors condenser high pressure and discharge pressure, feeding data into the logic for fan speed control, high-pressure protection, and slide valve load regulation; it serves as a critical sensing component within the unit's high-pressure circuit.

Core Product Functions:
1. Real-time High-Pressure Monitoring
Continuously monitors compressor discharge pressure and condenser-side high-pressure values, displaying the pressure in real-time on the MOD01054 screen.
2. Staged Condenser Fan Speed Control
The mainboard automatically starts/stops fans and adjusts the number of operating fans based on TDR00734 high-pressure readings to stabilize condensing pressure and improve part-load energy efficiency.
3. High-Pressure Safety Shutdown
When pressure exceeds the preset threshold, the UCP2 main controller triggers a high-pressure shutdown to prevent heat exchanger or piping rupture due to overpressure.
4. Closed-Loop Slide Valve Load Regulation
Automatically adjusts the compressor slide valve opening (0–100%) based on chilled water outlet temperature, balancing cooling capacity with system high pressure to minimize frequent high-pressure trips.
5. Fault Self-Diagnosis and Reporting
In the event of sensor wire breaks, short circuits, or signal loss, the panel reports the high-pressure sensor fault code, enabling rapid identification of the fault location for maintenance.

Product Malfunction Symptoms:
1. Frequent high-pressure sensor fault alarms; pressure readings on the panel drop to zero, freeze, or fluctuate drastically.
2. Erratic start/stop logic for condenser fans; system high pressure remains consistently high, leading to frequent shutdowns due to high-pressure protection.
3. Weak slide valve loading and insufficient cooling capacity; high and low-pressure parameters deviate significantly from standard ranges.
4. Water ingress and corrosion at the M-Pack connector; intermittent loss of bus communication; random unit load limiting.
5. Refrigerant leakage at threaded connections; persistent refrigerant shortage; both high and low pressures are consistently low.
