Trane TDR00272 Pressure Sensor: Product Functions and Application Scenarios
1. Compressor Oil Pressure Monitoring
Real-time monitoring of the lubricating oil pressure in screw and centrifugal compressors ensures that oil pressure remains ≥ 0.5 MPa, thereby preventing oil shortages, oil supply interruptions, and bearing burnout. When integrated with the main control board, it enables low oil pressure pre-warnings and automatic shutdown protection.
2. Refrigerant Suction and Discharge Pressure Monitoring
Low-Pressure Side (Suction): Monitors the 0–10 bar range to prevent excessively low pressure, evaporator frosting, and refrigerant shortages.
High-Pressure Side (Discharge): Monitors the 0–35 bar range to prevent excessively high pressure, condenser fouling/blockage, and poor heat dissipation.
3. System Safety Protection and Energy Efficiency Control
Provides real-time pressure data to the main control board to facilitate capacity modulation, variable-speed fan control, load limiting, and overpressure protection. In the event of a fault, it stores pressure trend data to enable rapid diagnosis of oil pressure anomalies, refrigerant leaks, and valve malfunctions.
