Yk 025-40334-000 Water Temperature Sensor: Structure and Operating Principles
1. Sensing Probe
The cylindrical probe, constructed from red copper, encapsulates a high-precision NTC chip. It is designed to be directly immersed in the water flow; as the temperature changes, its electrical resistance undergoes a precise, non-linear variation, enabling a rapid response to water temperature fluctuations while offering robust resistance to corrosion from chilled water.

2. Signal Transmission
Utilizing a double-shielded cable, the sensor effectively isolates strong electromagnetic interference generated by the compressor and inverter, thereby ensuring the stable and distortion-free transmission of temperature signals to the main control system.

3. Connection Interface
The waterproof 2-pin plug is perfectly matched to York control boards, ensuring a secure connection that is resistant to loosening and liquid ingress. It features a “plug-and-play” design, requiring no wiring modifications for installation.

4. Operating Principles
The sensor continuously monitors the temperatures of the inlet and outlet water in real-time. It feeds these resistance-based signals back to the unit’s control module, where the data is utilized for precise temperature regulation, load modulation, anti-freeze protection, and the monitoring of heat exchange efficiency.
