Product Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
1. Installation
Location: Flush-mount installation on the electrical cabinet door; the protective cover should face outward to facilitate operation and visual inspection.
Wiring: Connect the LonTalk communication lines (positive/negative) and the +24VAC power supply lines. Ensure terminal connections are securely fastened and the cable shielding is properly grounded.
Programming: For new panels, the corresponding unit program must be downloaded using TechView software; otherwise, the panel will be inoperable.
Maintenance
Every 3 Months: Clean the screen and button surfaces; inspect the protective cover, wiring terminals, and communication status.
Every 6 Months: Test button functionality; check backlight brightness; back up system parameters.
In the Event of a Fault: First, troubleshoot the power supply, communication wiring, and software program; only then should the panel be replaced, to prevent secondary damage.
