Core Filtration Performance:
1. Core Filtration Performance of the Filter Element
Features multi-layer pleated imported fiberglass media with a high-precision 3μm fiberglass composite layer, significantly increasing dirt-holding capacity and effectively capturing micron-sized metal debris and rust particles from the piping. It is resistant to high and low temperatures, chemically inert to POE oil, and utilizes oil-resistant epoxy resin bonding; it withstands thermal cycling without cracking or shedding fibers that could contaminate the oil circuit.
2. Dual-Layer Galvanized Carbon Steel Support Structure
Inner and outer layers of fully welded galvanized steel mesh sandwich the filter media, withstanding instantaneous pressure surges during oil pump start-stop cycles. This prevents media collapse or flow path obstruction, ensuring stable oil supply flow.
3. Fluid Flow Characteristics
Designed for unidirectional “outside-in” flow, ensuring 100% of the oil passes through the filter media. The initial pressure drop for a new element is <0.2 bar; it maintains consistent pressure without drop-off even under high-flow, fully loaded conditions, preventing low oil pressure alarms or system shutdowns triggered by pressure differential protection.

Common product malfunctions:
1. Frequent “low oil pressure differential” alarms; restricted loading and reduced cooling capacity
Filter element saturation; reduced flow area in the oil circuit; surging resistance to oil pump supply; insufficient oil supply to bearings triggering protective load reduction.
2. Increased abnormal noise and accelerated wear of the centrifugal impeller and main shaft bearings
Damage to fiberglass filter media or detachment of the steel mesh; unfiltered metal impurities entering the lubrication chamber; continuous scoring of the impeller and bearing shells by tiny particles.
3. Persistently high pressure differential; premature system lockout and shutdown protection
Exhaustion of the filter element’s dirt-holding capacity; excessive pressure differential; system controller detects a lubrication fault and forces a shutdown.
4. Persistent leakage of refrigeration oil at vessel end caps or copper pipe welds; gradual drop in oil sump level
O-ring aging or insufficient tightening torque on end caps; trace leakage of high-pressure lubricating oil through gaps; frequent replenishment of refrigeration oil required.
5. Violent fluctuations in oil pump pressure; unstable oil supply flow
Deformation or collapse of the inner support steel mesh; unstable oil flow; erratic lubrication supply exacerbating compressor wear.
